No. Flolio was built for people who want a system - not people who want to become traders. The research is done for you. The decisions are presented simply. If you can check your phone for 5 minutes a day, you can use Flolio. You don't need to know what a chart candles or bars are.
No. Flolio does the analysis. You see where each strategy stands — for example whether an asset's trend is Rising, Steady, or Falling — with the date and price it last changed. You decide what to do. You don't need to interpret a single chart, indicator, or graph (although they are in the application if you want to see them). If you can open an email, you can use Flolio.
Absolutely not. Flolio is an educational tool that demonstrates what rules-based strategies have done historically. It doesn't tell you what to do with your money. The backtest engine shows how each rules-based strategy performed historically versus buying and holding — it is never a prediction. All investing involves risk. Past performance is not indicative of future results.
Flolio doesn't execute trades. It analyses, backtests, and signals. You decide when and whether to act. The system does the watching; the decisions stay with you.
For each investment, Flolio tests multiple strategic approaches against historical price data and compares each one to a baseline, either buying and holding, or a baseline asset you set e.g. an index fund. Only approaches that beat that baseline make it through. And if you're interested you can drill into the full result set - annual return, number of trades, maximum drawdown, and the comparisons, all before Flolio shows you any signals to act on.
You open the Dashboard. Holdings whose trend recently turned Falling surface first - we focus on capital preservation and portfolio security first. Below that, anything that recently turned Rising. If nothing has changed, you see that clearly, close the tab and get on with your day. Our Telegram bot handles the between-times you're not logged in and only messages you when one of your assets changes state.
US stocks (NYSE/NASDAQ), UK stocks (LSE), crypto (top 100 by market cap, excluding stablecoins), and commodities via ETFs. The Scanner covers 630+ assets. UK users accessing international markets typically use LSE-listed ETFs.
